Bringing New York On-2 salsa to Worcester
Mambo On-2 took root in New York when Cuban, Puerto Rican and American cultures came together to create the social dance we know today.
In 2011, native New Yorker and instructor John-John Semidei and Worcester-born dancer Lindiana Flores Semidei founded Raices Latin Dance to bring the New York On-2 style to a mostly On-1 salsa scene. Since then we’ve taught classes and workshops every week and performed at salsa congresses and venues across the region.
Our beginner class is built for the true beginner — we break down the fundamentals step by step so you’re dancing in no time.
